Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Job Coach to empower individuals with diverse needs to achieve meaningful employment and independence. In this role, you will serve as a dedicated mentor and guide, providing personalized support to help clients develop essential skills, navigate workplace environments, and overcome barriers to employment. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and foster growth, ensuring each individual reaches their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives through dedicated coaching, workforce development, and social support. Duties Develop individualized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths, interests, and goals Provide hands-on training in job-related skills, including communication, time management, and workplace safety Support clients during job searches by assisting with resume writing, interview preparation, and application processes Offer ongoing mentoring and coaching to promote retention and career advancement Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and support networks to create inclusive employment opportunities Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly Educate clients on employment rights, labor laws, and workplace expectations to ensure compliance and confidence Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred Knowledge of employment & labor law relevant to workforce inclusion and accommodations Background in social work, workforce development, or addiction counseling enhances effectiveness in this role Proven skills in interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and training & development are essential Demonstrated ability to teach life skills and facilitate personal growth in diverse populations Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and motivate others Experience working within community-based settings or vocational programs is advantageous Join us as a Job Coach and become a vital part of transforming lives through empowering employment opportunities!
