Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Neurotherapy Specialist to join our growing team in Palo Alto, California. For more than 19 years, our clinic has specialized in advanced neuropsychological assessment and neuroscience-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. We work with individuals experiencing ADHD, Autism, learning disorders, anxiety, depression, concussion, traumatic brain injury, executive functioning challenges, and age-related cognitive decline, as well as athletes and high performers seeking to optimize brain function. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clients while receiving mentorship from psychologists and neuropsychologists and gaining hands-on experience with some of the most advanced brain-based technologies available in private practice. What Makes This Position Unique Most entry-level positions in psychology and neuroscience provide limited client interaction and exposure to only a small portion of the treatment process. At Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic, you will work directly with clients and families while receiving extensive training in a broad range of neuroscience-based interventions and technologies, including: Quantitative EEG (qEEG) Brain Mapping Neurofeedback and Biofeedback Cognitive and Executive Function Training Vision Training and Virtual Reality-Based Rehabilitation Photobiomodulation and Light-Based Therapies Brain Stimulation Technologies Performance Enhancement Programs for Athletes Advanced Physiological Technologies Including ARX, Vasper, CVAC, and More You will develop a deep understanding of neuroplasticity, brain-behavior relationships, cognitive performance, and the practical application of neuroscience in real-world settings. Responsibilities Conduct qEEG brain mapping and computerized assessments Deliver neurofeedback, cognitive training, and performance enhancement programs Coach clients in attention, executive functioning, self-regulation, and cognitive skills Implement neuroscience-based technologies according to established protocols Track client progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and families Collaborate closely with psychologists, neuropsychologists, and clinical staff Help create an exceptional client experience throughout treatment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Human Biology, Kinesiology, Education, or a related field preferred Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults is preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to learn and operate advanced technologies Highly organized and detail-oriented Professional, dependable, and accountable Passionate about helping others improve their lives through science-based interventions Career Development & Future Opportunities This position offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth.
