We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Job Coach to support adults with disabilities in developing vocational, social skills within community and employment settings. The Job Coach will provide hands-on training, encouragement, and advocacy to help individuals achieve meaningful employment and greater independence. This role requires patience, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to person-centered support. Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group job coaching for adults with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities.
- Assist individuals in learning job tasks, workplace expectations, and appropriate professional behaviors.
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor client progress and document performance, goals, and outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with employers, families, case managers, and program staff.
- Accompany clients to job sites as needed.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies and state regulations. Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background screening and drug test.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Preferred
- Experience working with adults with disabilities a plus
- Experience in vocational training, education, social services, or direct support.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if needed.
- Ability to travel to community job sites and program locations. Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday schedule 6:00am-2:00pm. (may Vary)
- $18.00/hr
