Job Summary Job Summary The Career Development Counselor provides comprehensive career development, workforce readiness, and employment support services to adult learners age 22 and older enrolled in a high school diploma completion program. The Career Development Counselor assists students in identifying career goals, developing employability skills, connecting to education and training opportunities, and securing meaningful employment. The position bridges academic success with workforce outcomes by helping students prepare for and transition into careers, postsecondary education, apprenticeships, and vocational training programs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Career Development, Human Services, Education, Social Work, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, industry certifications, and relevant professional experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least four (4) years experience in career counseling, workforce development, employment services, adult education or related field required.
  • This position requires regular travel between sites.
A valid driver's license, personal automobile, and proof of insurance required. Please ensure the following required documents are attached to your application: Copy of Transcript Resume Requirements /
