Position Summary:
The Career Development Coach provides comprehensive career development, workforce readiness, and employment support services to adult learners age 22 and older enrolled in a high school diploma completion program. The Career Development Counselor assists students in identifying career goals, developing employability skills, connecting to education and training opportunities, and securing meaningful employment. The position bridges academic success with workforce outcomes by helping students prepare for and transition into careers, postsecondary education, apprenticeships, and vocational training programs. _________________________________________________________________________________ Minimum Requirements (must be attached to the EdJoin application): Applicants must attach the following items to their EdJoin application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Resume (Required). Minimum of Two Professional References (Required). Proof of Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Career Development, Human Services, Education, Social Work, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field, or or equivalent combination of education, industry certifications, and relevant professional experience required. In addition to the attached, applicants must also meet the following minimum requirements: At least two (2) years experience in career counseling, workforce development, employment services, adult education or related field required. This position requires regular travel between sites. A valid driver's license, personal automobile, and proof of insurance required.
