Join Easter Seals Superior California as a Job Coach and play a vital role in empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in community-based jobs. As part of our Easter Seals Enterprises team, you'll provide on-site coaching, foster independence, and advocate for inclusive workplaces. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who values relationship-building, problem-solving, and making a direct impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide on-the-job coaching and support tailored to individual needs.
• Help individuals build independence through natural supports and skill development.
• Collaborate with planning teams to identify coaching needs and employment goals.
• Conduct site visits to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Advocate for accommodations, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and time logs for each coaching session.
• Ensure employment sites meet safety standards (Cal

OSHA/OSHA

).

• Deliver exceptional customer service to individuals served and employers.

30/60/90

Day Expectations:

By 30

Days:

• Complete onboarding and required trainings (e.g., Person-Centered Thinking, Goal Development).
• Shadow coaching sessions and build rapport with individuals served.

By 60

Days:

• Independently provide coaching at employment sites.
• Collaborate with teams to support job retention and satisfaction.

By 90

Days:

• Meet benchmarks for coaching hours, documentation, and site visits.
• Support individuals in achieving greater independence and workplace success.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED recommended; or 1+ year experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Must meet agency requirements for background checks, certifications (CPR/First Aid), and TB testing.
