Starting Rate:
 $20 per hour Position Summary The Employment Assistance Specialist supports program participants in achieving long-term employment by assessing skills, providing case management, and connecting participants with job opportunities. This role works closely with employers, program staff, and community resources to facilitate successful employment outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess program participants' employment readiness, skills, and career goals. Provide ongoing weekly and monthly employment case management to support job placement and retention. Conduct job development activities by building relationships with employers and advocating for participants to secure stable employment. Identify and refer participants to internal and external employment opportunities. Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking current job openings and employment leads. Motivate and guide participants in their job search efforts. Develop and implement strategies to help clients reach their employment and career goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of case notes, services, and referrals in the Apricot system. Regularly update program records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
