Do you have a background in psychology, kinesiology, nursing, or a related field? Kidisthenics Fitness Company is seeking driven, reliable, and positive individuals to join our growing team in the Poway area!
About Us:
Kidisthenics is a high-intensity, fully inclusive movement program designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities through one-on-one training and group fitness. We specialize in movement-based learning techniques that promote emotional regulation, motor control, and greater independence.
What You'll Do:
As a Movement Specialist, you'll work closely with clients of all ages to guide them through customized fitness sessions that incorporate: Primitive Movement Training Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) Sensory-Informed Training You'll work with clients both through one-on-one sessions, group fitness classes and social outings that focus on physical development, emotional strength, and confidence-building.
What We're Looking For:
Passion for supporting developmentally disabled individuals Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude Background in psychology, pre-med, kinesiology, nursing, education, or related fields Appreciation for physical fitness and a willingness to be active and hands-on Experience working with individuals with autism is preferred, but not required
