Clinical Placement & Employer Relations Specialist 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 1610 E Saint Andrew Pl Unit 200, Santa Ana, CA 92705 From $28 an hour - Full-time CNI College 23 reviews From $28 an hour - Full-time Job Summary CNI College is seeking a dynamic and motivated Clinical Placement & Employer Relations Specialist to support clinical placement and employer engagement efforts. In this role, the incumbent will serve as a key liaison between students, clinical sites, and healthcare employers to facilitate high-quality clinical placement experiences. This position is externally focused and requires regular field engagement, including site visits and outreach to healthcare organizations. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong employer partnerships, expanding placement opportunities, and ensuring alignment with program needs and applicable accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular on-site visits to hospitals, clinics, and partner facilities to maintain and strengthen relationships Identify, develop, and secure new clinical and employer partnerships to expand placement opportunities Maintain and grow existing site relationships to ensure continuity and quality of placements Collaborate with program leadership to align clinical placements with student and program requirements Track and report placement activity, outreach efforts, and outcomes using established systems Support graduate job placement efforts through employer engagement and relationship management Ensure compliance with applicable standards and expectations related to clinical placements and program requirements Represent the College professionally in all external interactions Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and clinical environments Knowledge of managed care systems and healthcare operations preferred Familiarity with accreditation and quality standards, including those related to healthcare and clinical education Excellent knowledge of medical terminology to support effective communication with clinical partners and students Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage employers, faculty, and students Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in career services, employer relations, clinical coordination, business development, or a related field Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, employers, or community organizations Experience conducting outreach, site visits, or field-based engagement strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain accurate records, reports, and tracking systems Knowledge of clinical placements, workforce development, or allied health programs preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; ability to travel locally for site visits and employer engagement Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders Work Environment and Expectations This role requires regular local travel and fieldwork Combination of office-based coordination and external site engagement May require occasional flexibility in schedule to accommodate site visits or employer availability
