The ideal candidate will provide emotional support, practical assistance, and therapeutic engagement, enabling clients to lead fulfilling lives while promoting independence and recovery. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients with brain injuries in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation. Assist clients in following personalized rehabilitation plans, collaborating with therapists and medical professionals. Facilitate social interactions and community engagement activities to enhance clients' social skills and integration. Encourage clients to participate in therapeutic exercises and cognitive training activities. Maintain accurate documentation of clients' progress and assist in tracking their rehabilitation goals. Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Implement safety measures and provide a supportive environment to manage behavioral challenges effectively. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge regarding brain injury rehabilitation and support techniques. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or training in healthcare, social work, or a related field preferred. Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or other disabilities is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude towards individuals facing challenges due to brain injuries.
