Immediately Job Description Job Summary Ensures that the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are supported with coaching and training for teachers. Assists Career and Technical Education Directors with management of programs operations. Essential Functions 1. Facilitates curriculum writing, alignment, and implementation of Career and Technical Education programs; models best practices. 2. Serves as a liaison between the CTE office and the schools. 3. Supports CTE in all aspects of design and implementation. 4. Coordinates and/or conducts staff development for curriculum implementation of Career and Technical Education. 5. Communicates vision and goals to school faculty, staff and builds CTE program support. 6. Must be willing to drive to schools. 7. Coordinates/facilitates professional learning communities. 8. Locates and assists with purchasing appropriate resources, instructional materials, supplies and equipment. 9. Assists with marketing, communication, and recruitment efforts. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Master's Degree Preferred)
Experience:
Three (3) years successful teaching experience.
Certification & Licenses:
Florida Department of Education Certification in a Career and Technical Education Program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
