Job Description:
The Disaster Recovery Relief Navigator will be responsible for assisting individuals with locating and accessing career placement assistance programs, applying for supportive services and identifying public funds available.
Responsibilities:
Assists staff members with cases by supervising and coordinating supportive services, record keeping, documentation acquisition and data management Helps individuals affected by the disaster access recovery/relief resources such as applications for applications for government program assistance, such as
SNAP, TANF
Assists staff members and individuals with the recovery of critical documents (e.g., social security card, birth certificate, drivers license, etc.) Assists the Director with identifying additional supportive opportunities related to disaster survivors accessing services Assist individuals with access to career placement assistance via referrals and registration for training and career placement assistant programs Maintains and reports complete and accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well as other services in accordance with federal, state and county guidelines
