Recovery Peer Specialist Ibis Healthcare - 5.0 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time 20 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Loan forgiveness Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Recovery Peer Specialist will screen, engage, and support pregnant and postpartum women (PPW) with opioid use disorder (OUD) or at risk of OUD with recovery support services to include providing practical assistance from lived experiences and formalized training (peer certification and doula).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma Credentialed as Peer Support Specialist (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years in active recovery preferred Certified as Doula preferred (can obtain certification on site)
RESPOINSIBILITIES
Engage and motivate pregnant and postpartum women (PPW) at risk with opioid use disorder (OUD) in a supportive role, both one-on-one and in groups, to help them accomplish service plan goals Provide supportive services related to pregnancy and the birthing process, including but not limited to visits at OB appointments and the hospital during/after birth Provide education on recovery and treatment options, the disease of addiction, harm reduction, overdose prevention, and the use of Narcan. Engage and motivate patients in a supportive role, both one-on-one and through other means of communication, to help them accomplish treatment plan goals and model recovery-oriented behaviors and decision-making. Participate in patient case reviews and patient consult team meetings Coordinate pro-social activities for participants. Document participant activities and other required documentation Provide administrative support as required. Facilitate recovery-oriented groups as needed. Other duties as assigned.
