Career Technical Instruction (CTI) Coordinator Polk School District is seeking a dedicated and organized Career Technical Instruction (CTI) Coordinator to support students with disabilities in achieving success within our Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs. This role is vital in bridging the gap between classroom learning and future employment, ensuring that students have the accommodations, skills, and transition plans necessary for life after high school. Role Overview As the CTI Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive support services, including transition planning, pre-employment training, and coordination of services. You will serve as a key advocate for CTI students on IEP planning committees and collaborate closely with CTAE instructors to implement necessary classroom modifications. Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Support:
Provide direct support to students with disabilities based on their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Transition Planning:
Coordinate and assist students in completing their transition plans and documenting progress for case managers.Career Guidance:
Administer aptitude assessments, inform students of post-secondary options, and assist with college or job applications.Workplace Readiness:
Create opportunities for job shadowing, work-based learning, and entry-level employment.Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the school and outside agencies while participating in community service and IEP meetings.Student Leadership:
Sponsor a Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) specifically for CTI students. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.Certification:
Must possess a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education issued by the GAPSC.Experience:
3�5 years of experience in Special Education is preferred.Skills:
Proficiency in special education due process procedures, data management, and strong collaborative communication. Position DetailsSalary:

Teachers Retirement System (TRS).Travel:
