Typical DDP-related responsibilities under DBHDD standards include: Oversight of waiver and developmental disability services Ensuring person-centered care and compliance Staff guidance and training Monitoring quality assurance and participant rights Common qualifications for DDP-type roles often include: Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, special education, nursing, or a related human-services field Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities Knowledge of DBHDD waiver standards and documentation requirements In order to be employed as a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional, candidates must comply with state background screening requirements.
