This position blends direct student care with campus-wide impact—offering you the opportunity to provide short-term counseling while designing outreach, training, and prevention efforts that strengthen the entire college community. Deliver Student-Centered Mental Health Services Provide short-term individual and group counseling to students. Manage a dynamic caseload, including students with urgent and ongoing needs. Conduct crisis intervention and assessment as needed. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards. Lead Campus Suicide Prevention & Grant Programming Design and implement outreach, education, and training initiatives outlined in theSAMHSA GLS
grant. Coordinate campus-wide programming and prevention events. Collect and support reporting of data related to counseling services and prevention outcomes. Ensure grant activities align with timelines, objectives, and compliance requirements. Foster Campus & Community Partnerships Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community mental health partners. Consult and collaborate with CWI offices, committees, and staff to support student wellbeing. Participate in college committees and initiatives that advance holistic student support. Model Professional & Institutional Excellence Adhere to all applicable ethical standards, laws, and best practices. Demonstrate CWI's values through professional conduct and student engagement. Contribute to a culture of care, access, and student success across campus.What We're Looking For:
Licensed/license-eligible in the State of Idaho to independently practice as a mental health professional (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, etc.) At least one year of experience working in social services or similar position within education Project management experience Experience in crisis intervention and assessment Strong interpersonal and writing skills Experience with mental health provision in a post-secondary setting, with an understanding of student development preferred Additional Instructions forApplicants:
