College & Career Coordinator College & Career Services Team;Student Services Department Purpose Statement:
The primary responsibility of the College & Career Services Support Specialist is to provide support for post-high school awareness, access and success of all ETHS students and families across all grade levels. It is the responsibility of College and Career Services Support Specialist to provide a student-centered welcoming environment and timely resources and information to students, parents/guardians, staff and community partners.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
60 college hours, and relevant technical and/or relevant college experience in a field related to business and/or education Previous experience in supporting College and Career programming preferred Bilingual/Spanish-speaking a plus Minimum of three years general office experience, involving public contact, customer service, and clerical workSKILL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE

Creative thinking and experience in coordinating and managing a large, busy office area that serves students, parents, college admission and financial aid officers, career professionals and other guests. 5. General knowledge regarding colleges and financial aid, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) 6. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 7. Ability to engage with faculty, staff, students, parents/guardians, and visitors tactfully and courteously 8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, math, and the ability to proofread 9. Advanced Computer Skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite a must; SchooLinks, eSchool and ETHS applications preferred)ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Support the work of the College & Career Coordinator, Post-Secondary Counselor, Lead Counselors, College-Bound Student Athlete Advisor, ISACorps representative, and other additional CCS staff (i.e. counseling intern), as well as the work involving community partners. 2. Oversee the day-to-day traffic of College & Career Services. 3. Schedule and confirm visits by college representatives via phone, email and/or online scheduler. Maintain a list of visits and college rep contacts. Coordinate visit space for college visits and meetings. Meet and greet college reps and students. Maintain and submit attendance records for visits. 4. Be familiar with the College and Career resources (hard copies, software, etc.) that students, parents and guests could use. 5. Assist students, parents and staff with College & Career Services' resources, including logging in and using SchooLinks, questions about college applications, Common Application, transcript requests, teacher recommendations, ACT/SAT registration and sending scores, scholarship applications, financial aid, etc. 6. Communicate information related to college visits, scholarships, college events (at ETHS, in the community, and on college campuses), enrichment, military, and career programs through various channels, including appropriate social media platforms. 7. Develop and prepare publications (and arrange for translation) with leadership from the College & Career Coordinator and Post-Secondary Counselor (college handbooks, brochures, and handouts). 8. Inventory and maintain College & Career Services team supplies. 9. Maintain relationships with appropriate professional groups. 10. Serve as proxy for College & Career Coordinator in meetings as needed. 11. Prepare postal mailings, e-mail and announcements throughout the year for the ETHS community regarding programs sponsored by College & Career Services. 12. Arrange bus transportation and collect permission slips for College & Career Services field trips. 13. Maintain ACT and SAT test scores (when available) in post-high school planning platform. 14. Maintain library of college and/or career printed information. 15. Maintain budget records for College & Career Services; process P-card statements, purchase orders, invoices and reimbursement requests. 16. Maintain College & Career Services events calendar, represent College & Career Services at calendar planning meetings, and coordinate events with ETHS Activities Calendar events. 17. Monitor and edit College & Career Services website content. 18. Schedule room requests for all College & Career Services events and meetings. 19. Participate in periodic computer and technical training. 20. Assist with evening and weekend programs. 21. Requires some summer work during the two weeks at the beginning of the school year. 22. Facilitate the ETHS Senior Scholarship programming, including communicate with donors, process scholarships, and coordinate with staff for implementation of scholarships and Senior Scholarships Night. 23. Maintain confidential information. 24. Document communication with students and parents/guardians. 25. Maintain and submit accurate data reports in a timely manner. 26. Participate in Professional Development. 27. Other duties as assigned.TERM OF EMPLOYMENT

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant finger dexterity.
