Job Description:
Perform various analyses and tasks to assist Patient Financial Services (PFS) Regional Director, PFS Supervisor and Registration Management with issues, related to the patient registration and admission functions of the Patient Access Departments that effect payments. Acts as PFS liaison to the Patient Access Department (Admitting and Registration) at the hospitals and offsite locations, rounding with management. Recommends and creates training plans and quick tips for workflows. Performs EPIC training for all PFS and Registration new hires as credentialed EPIC trainer. Creates and performs healthcare revenue cycle and insurance training classes for Revenue Cycle staff. Required Skills & Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in education, healthcare, business management, or information systems. 2-4 years' experience in patient accounting or patient access. Experience in healthcare IS systems required, with emphasis in Epic. Demonstrates the ability to create and prepare effective training solutions. Exercises sound judgment in problem solving, critical analysis and customer relations. Strong and effective listening, written, oral and presentation/training skills required. Demonstrated logic and math skills related to healthcare situations. Ability to work independently and multi-task while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment. Proficient MS Office skills.
