Collaborate with clients to assess their strengths, interests, and employment goals, creating tailored coaching plans. Provide hands-on training in job-specific skills, workplace etiquette, and communication techniques to prepare clients for success. Foster ongoing relationships with employers to identify suitable opportunities and facilitate successful placements. Offer mentoring and motivational support to help clients build confidence, independence, and resilience in the workplace. Monitor progress post-employment by conducting regular check-ins, addressing challenges, and providing additional training or resources as needed. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, progress reports, and employment outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications Knowledge of employment and labor laws relevant to workplace rights and accommodations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, demonstrating patience and understanding. Background in social work Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate others effectively. Familiarity with workforce development strategies, recruitment practices, and training & development techniques. Excellent interviewing skills to assess client needs and employer requirements accurately. Proven mentoring abilities to inspire confidence and foster independence among diverse populations. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a client-centered approach.
