Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Supported Employment Specialist to empower individuals with SMI diagnosis and SUD to achieve meaningful employment opportunities. In this role, you will serve as a dedicated advocate, guiding clients through the employment process, providing mentorship, and fostering workforce development. Your energy and expertise will help clients build confidence, develop skills, and secure sustainable jobs in the community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Duties Develop individualized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths, interests, and goals Assist clients with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies Conduct outreach to local employers to promote inclusive hiring practices and create job opportunities Provide ongoing mentoring and support to clients during their employment journey Collaborate with families, caregivers, and support networks to ensure comprehensive client support Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, employment outcomes, and service activities Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness. Background in case management, addiction & recovery, social work, hiring, sales or related fields is advantageous Excellent interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and training & development skills Ability to build trusting relationships and motivate clients toward independence Effective communication skills for collaborating with employers, families, and team members Knowledge of workforce development strategies and community resources This role is ideal for passionate professionals eager to foster independence and inclusion through dedicated support. Pay:
