Job Description:
In-person , Hyannis, MA. Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM- 35 hours per week
Job Summary:
The Assistant Career Center Manager is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day activities of the career center staff engaged in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act youth, adult, dislocated worker and academic programs including all employment and training programs, academic achievement programs, academic and vocational assessment programs, and Department of Transitional Assistance programs. The Assistant Career Center Manager is also responsible for coordinating all Career Center activities to ensure the smooth operation of the career center. This position requires a high degree of tact, diplomacy, managerial knowledge, operational and marketing skills/techniques. Incumbents assists career center staff in developing policies and procedures consistent with federal and state rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Suggested Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree required. Three to five years of supervisory experience in education, juvenile justice, employment, and training programs is preferred. Any combination of training and or experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have access to transportation for completion of field assignments. Valid driver's license and access to own transportation required.
Start Date:
ASAP Salary Range:
$80,000-$90,000
