12057-709 • Full-Time/Regular Riverside Community Care Love what you do! Peer Mentor - Life Skills Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Peer Mentor! Peer Mentors provide specialized expertise based on sharing their own lived experience of mental health challenges with purpose and intent to inspire hope and motivation in a youth who is struggling with similar concerns. In this important role, the Peer Mentor will: guide youth through their treatment process providing outreach, peer support and advocacy, all in accordance to the client's individual service plan help clients gain access to recovery resources and communities work in coordination with the clinical team while using their recovery experience as a positive model for clients' process.
Schedule:
Full Time 40 hours per week; 20 hours in Milford and 20 hours in
Needham Pay Rate:

Required Skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle, and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle for program related needs, including but not limited to, community trips and persons served transportation to and from program when needed Required Experience High School Degree/GED required; Bachelors preferred One year experience working with target population required, though experience as a consumer can be substituted Certification as a Peer Specialist (can be attained after hire) required Riverside Community Care is dedicated to respect, integrity and engagement of all individuals.
