This position will provide on-going support, counseling, and training to individuals of this agency. Support the individual in activities of their choosing including fitness classes, park visits, movies/museum trips, career exploration etc. Transporting individual(s) to various locations and activities within the community. Initiate and maintain relationships within the community professionally and personally. Assist individuals with personal care activities such as toileting, feeding, showering, etc Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required Valid Driver's License, clean driving record and three (3) or more years of driving experience. Two (2) or more years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred. CMT desirable. Outstanding organizational and time management skills necessary. Must be independent and self-directed. Excellent oral and written communication skills and Microsoft Office experience a plus. Working Conditions Position requires frequent standing and walking. Driving and transporting persons receiving services is a significant portion of this position. Must be able to work flexible hours as required to train and support individuals.
