Job Description

This position is located in Anne Arundel County. Reporting to the Program Manager of EBSE, the Employment Coach (EBSE) is responsible to boost Humanim's Employment Services programs in Maryland by promoting and marketing their services through relationship building with existing and potential referral sources, identifying new referral partners, identifying market opportunities, and raising brand awareness within the designated service area. This role provides educational information about our programs, creating relationships that allow consumers of Humanim programs to obtain employment in the community. Utilizing all contact methodologies to achieve maximum reach with the ultimate goal of developing trusting and long-term relationships for referrals and employment placement. The Employment Coach coordinates with the clinical team to recommend additional services consumers may require. This role assists in the development of employment opportunities for individuals with mental health issue, that can include job coaching, follow along supports, ongoing job supports, self-employment support services, career exploration services, co-worker supports and/or pre-vocational/independent living skills activities based on assigned participants' goals. Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Experience with recruiting, sales or marketing preferred. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Maintain up to date automobile insurance. Have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience. Ability to relate well to staff and board members of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religions.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Ability to spend extended periods sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
