This person helps the people we support to obtain and access appropriate social, recreational, educational, and employment services. This is a

FULL-TIME

position. Due to the nature of our program, hours may include occasional hours in the evening or weekend. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old A high school diploma or GED required Must have a current driver's license with no more than 5 points Must display a genuine interest in the well-being of adults with developmental disabilities Must demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict effectively Must display a positive attitude when interacting with others Responsibilities Provide outstanding support and services for people with developmental disabilities, enabling them to participate as fully as they wish in all aspects of community life Support and promote people with developmental disabilities by providing choice in obtaining employment, educational, social, and recreational services Assure that job tasks assigned to individuals both on and off-site are completed to the employers' standards. Provide onsite support, coaching and assessment of the individual's ability to meet the expectations of the employer and position. Advocate for the individual to ensure their work environment is providing the support and accommodation needed for success. Teach self-advocacy; providing tools necessary for the individual to navigate workplace challenges independently when possible. Be knowledgeable of the person-centered plan for each person and provide support to them according to their plan. Company Description Bello Machre
