EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
SUPERVISOR-Youth Services Program Do you want to lead a team that changes young lives every day? As our Employment Specialist Supervisor, you'll lead our youth services program — guiding a dedicated team that helps young individuals with barriers discover their strengths, build job skills, and step confidently into the workforce. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
This is a hands-on leadership role in which you'll collaborate with the Walled Lake Consolidated School District, summer youth programs, and multidisciplinary teams to move the needle for young people. Lead, train, and supervise job mentors and intake personnel to ensure quality, best-practice service delivery. Collaborate with teachers, referral sources, and clinical staff to design individualized service plans that truly meet each youth's needs. Serve as a liaison and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, resolving service issues with outside agencies. Develop safety and crisis plans for high-risk youth participants, ensuring consistent, compassionate care. Maintain accurate participant records and ensure documentation meets agency and compliance standards. Monitor program resources and align service delivery with evidence-based performance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a human services field required; Master's degree preferred. Experience in rehabilitation, vocational services, or a related human services field strongly desired. Warm, professional demeanor — comfortable building relationships in business, school, and community environments.
