Care Connector (Recovery/Peer Support)

Care Connector (Full-Time, Contract Position) Pines Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and engaging Care Connector to serve as the first point of contact for individuals walking into Pines for services during business hours. This role plays a critical part in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for individuals taking an important step toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome individuals in a professional, respectful, and supportive manner Help individuals feel comfortable and supported when seeking services as a result of lived experience Assist with Same Day Access intake registration, scheduling, and service orientation Conduct initial screenings for health and safety risks, including substance use Provide encouragement and hope by appropriately sharing lived experience, when applicable Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth intake process

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in a variety of situations Lived experience with substance use with sustained recovery Willingness to obtain certification as a Substance Use Recovery Coach (required; employer-paid)

Compensation & Benefits:
