We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and driven Employment Specialist / Placement Services Case Manager to join our team in Detroit Lakes. In this rewarding role, you will support adults and transition-aged youth with disabilities as they explore career opportunities, identify strengths and interests, develop employment goals, and successfully secure meaningful community-based employment. What You'll Do As an Employment Specialist / Placement Services Case Manager, you will: Assist individuals in making informed decisions about employment and career pathways Help adults and transition-aged youth identify skills, interests, and strengths Develop individualized employment plans based on person-centered goals Coordinate job placement, employment support services, and community-based opportunities Build relationships with employers and community partners Provide ongoing support to ensure successful employment outcomes Advocate for inclusion, independence, and meaningful opportunities in the workplace Maintain accurate documentation and case management responsibilities

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with a good driving record Reliable personal vehicle with the ability to transport at least three additional individuals Ability to pass a background check Ability to meet state and/or county licensing requirements Experience providing employment or vocational services Knowledge of workforce development, employment supports, or community-based services Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities Experience with Person-Centered Planning, 245D services, or mental health supports Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while also contributing as an effective team member Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Education and/or experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in mental health, social services, business, or a related field Additional Skills That Are a Plus Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply: American Sign Language (ASL) Benefits Analysis Scheduling and service coordination Disability services and advocacy Community networking and employer engagement Why Join Blue Sky Inc.?
