Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pantry Operations and Inventory Management Maintain daily operations of the pantry during open hours, including setup, student check-in, stocking, cleaning, and closing procedures. Monitor inventory levels, organize supplies, and support ordering and restocking efforts. Track donation intake and organize food drives in collaboration with campus and community partners. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry space in accordance with food safety guidelines and departmental/university expectations. Assist in documenting and tracking food waste and shopper usage for reporting and improvement efforts. Shopper Engagement Serve as a frontline point of contact for students utilizing the pantry, providing a welcoming and judgment-free experience. Help connect students with other basic needs services and programs (e.g., Swipe Out Hunger, Short-Term Housing) in coordination with the Program Director. Assist the program director with non-clinical case management of shoppers with elevated needs, meeting with students one-on-one and developing individualized support plans Maintain confidentiality and practice sensitivity when working with students in need. Administrative Support Assist in collecting and entering data for reports on pantry usage, volunteer hours, and outreach impact. Support grant or fundraising efforts by providing usage data, testimonials, or assisting with event logistics. Assist with recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision of volunteers, student workers (graduate and undergraduate), and interns to ensure adequate pantry staffing during operating hours and events. Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to volunteers, student workers, and interns regarding professionalism and service-oriented practices. Attend relevant programmatic events, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by the Program Director. Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Director or designee. Minimum Experience /

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with college student development or basic needs insecurity associated with the college experience. Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to students, including FERPA, HIPAA, Title IX, Section 504, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Demonstrated sensitivity to the concerns and needs of a college student population. Demonstrated experience navigating and building partnerships with community social services and resources. Experience in crisis intervention or conflict resolution, response, and assessment, with the ability to diffuse crisis situations, problem solve, and analyze complex problems. Familiarity working cooperatively with others in a multidisciplinary team environment.
