As our IPS-SE Team Lead, you'll guide a dedicated team providing Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to adults and youth 16 years-old or older living with mental illness or substance use disorders. You'll work where the impact happens - at home, in the community, and on the job - ensuring that our clients are supported every step of the way in finding and sustaining meaningful employment. Duties Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervises up to 10 Employment Specialists (ESPs/EPMs), providing weekly supervision, training, and field mentoring (working side-by-side) to ensure high fidelity to the IPS model.
Fidelity & Outcomes:
Monitors team outcomes (number of clients employed) and implements quality improvement plans to meet IPS fidelity scales.
Caseload Management:
Maintains a small, direct caseload of 2-3 individuals (if supervising 7-10 staff) to provide direct vocational services.
Collaboration & Liaison:
Acts as the primary liaison between the IPS team, mental health treatment teams, and the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVRS).
Employer Engagement:
Leads the team in developing relationships with local employers to access the hidden job market.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensures all documentation (Career Profiles, service notes, job logs) meets CARF and NC Tailored Plan standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or related field; Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, or related community-based services Previous team lead, supervisory or project management experience strongly preferred Knowledge of IPS (Individual Placement and Support) principles and evidence-based practices Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills Excellent interpersonal communication, motivational interviewing, and conflict resolution abilities Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, staff, employers, and community partners Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent community visits Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care and cultural competency
Pay:
$23.30 - $25.46 per hour
