Job Description

Title :
Clincial Application Specialist - Echo (Part Time)
Status :
1099. Approximately 8-10 days per month (days/hours flexible!). Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Overview :
Primary responsibility is to teach basic cardiac ultrasound skills for the use of the world's only handheld TEE and support upcoming education sessions at customer sites in Northern NJ. Work in partnership with dedicated sales manager. Requires certification in ultrasound (RDCS preferred) and the ability to train and coach others in a clinical setting. Successful applicant will build relationships with clinical teams and lead teams through a simplified, focused, and defined clinical use protocol. This is a great opportunity for experienced cardiac sonographer interested in complementing current work schedule or looking to gain and grow professional experience as a clinical applications specialist. While schedule is flexible, MUST be able to dedicate at least one weekday per week to position.
Goals :
Lead training sessions for new users Guide users through individual case reviews Optimize use of system in ICU clinical setting to support investigational studies Handle communications at research site, guided by clinical sales manager Become a clinical expert in the use of the ultrasound (echo) application
Qualifications :
RDCS with hospital inpatient experience preferred. Consistent history of employment. Valid driver's license. Proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of clear written and oral communication.
Physical Requirements :
Minimal; ability to transport light training equipment.
Compensation :
Hourly, including consulting hours, communication(emails/meetings/calls), and travel time. Company pays all local business-related travel expenses including mileage to and from the hospital site. Company also provides onboarding education and reimburses for initial training.
