This role is essential for guiding students through a comprehensive Career Continuum, ensuring that every individual is prepared for a meaningful work-based learning (WBL) experience. We are looking for an effective communicator who can bridge the gap between technical education, traditional academics, and discovering pathways forward, while providing the mentorship and support necessary for students to build professional persistence.
DUTIES:
Collaborative Partnership & Communication Must be a flexible collaborator with CTE leadership, staff, and all other stakeholders to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative school culture. Serve as a liaison between the CTE center, component school districts, and families to ensure student progress is accurately tracked, communicated, and supported. Maintain substantive, proactive communication with district counselors through monthly check-ins and shared progress reporting. Participate in weekly Leadership and Student Support Team (SST) meetings, contributing data-driven insights to triangulate student needs and implement timely interventions. Act as a liaison for partnerships between post-secondary institution(s), industry partners, and families to ensure program alignment and student success. Recruitment & Transition Coordination Lead the full CTE recruitment eycle, including the organization of 8th and 10th-grade visitation days, and New Visions recruitment visits. Serve as a vital liaison to students and families, ensuring a high level of commitment to the program and long-term student success. Coordinate essential senior transition events, such as the Pathways to the Future career fair, College Application Workshops, and Senior Celebration Day. Maintain and update the CTE Counselor Catalog and curriculum descriptions for district catalogs to ensure clear, accurate information is available to all stakeholders. Organization & Technological Proficiency Provide evidence of strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as creative thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail by managing complex master schedules, enrollment waitlists, and student rotations within SchoolTool. Utilize diverse technology platforms (Google Suite, specialized spreadsheets, and digital portfolios) to maintain real-time notes on student progress and career readiness. Manage high volumes of data related to industry exam results, technical endorsements, and post-program placement (3S1) with accuracy.
Career Development & WBL Mission Support Equity & Student Success Pillars:

You will mentor and guide students to embody the six pillars of our mission, ensuring they graduate as: Academically Prepared, Creative Innovators, Critical Thinkers, Effective Communicators, Global Citizens, Reflective and Future-Focused Demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, and an assets-based approach to supporting all students, especially those who have been historically academically marginalized.
