$19.00 - $20.00 plus benefits Position requires weekend and evenings availability About Us LAUNCH has been proudly serving the greater Onondaga County area for 40 years. Offering individualized services that foster learning, independence, and growth - guided by the principle that learning is unique for each individual and occurs in all spheres of life. We serve and support anyone who seeks guidance in learning. This can include children, adults, families, parents, and caregivers from all backgrounds as well as learning styles. About the Role We are looking for a self-starter dedicated to lifelong learning and are passionate for teaching others so they can succeed in the workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing and documenting participant's skills, needs, and interests to determine appropriate employment opportunities and supports needed Researching, developing, and creating internships and employment opportunities Developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses, human resources groups, and employment networks Providing job coaching Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in Employment Services or related fields, or a combination of education and experience that can be equivalent. High School Diploma required. Customer service, sales or training experience preferred. Basic technology/email skills required Experience working with individuals with different learning styles and abilities preferred. Must want to work one on one with individuals be excited to make a difference in the lives of others! Conditions of Employment Must possess a valid driver's license and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Can plan own schedule around supporting the employment needs of participants. $1 additional per hour for job coaching after 6pm or weekends.
