Job Description
Authorization Coordinator General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Authorization Coordinator will assist in the maintenance of the authorizations process, including obtaining initial pre-authorization, concurrent authorization, and follow-through with appropriate reimbursement issues.
Dimensions:
Accounting Processes 200-250 referrals requiring authorization monthly. Interfaces with resource staff and third party payers. Interfaces with A/R and Intake department routinely.
