Basic Function:
Determine and implement accommodations for students with disabilities. Reports to Associate Director, Student Accessibility Services or designated supervisor. Additional Basic Function•if applicable:
Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Determine and implement appropriate academic accommodations for disabled students through interviews with students, the evaluation of medical, psychological, and neuro-psychological documentation. Advise students, parents, faculty, and staff on disability accommodations, policies, and procedures. Stay apprised of current trends and practices in disability resources in higher education. Support department programs and initiatives, in accordance with division and university priorities. Serve on various university and external committees as requested and/or required. May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Additional Examples of Duties•if applicable:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a relevant field. Two years of relevant experience working with students.
License/Certification:
None.
Knowledge Of:
Access concerns, required services, and relevant legislation for students with disabilities in post-secondary education
Skill In:
Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with a variety of individuals, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and external constituents• Student-focused problem solving, working as a team, and working independently Personal computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite•
Ability To:
Evaluate, interpret, and apply complex requirements and policies Work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications•if applicable: Master's degree in education or related field. Experience working with college students with disabilities.

Working Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8 AM•5 PM or otherwise discussed with your supervisor.
