Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for individualized client services provided in a setting providing addictions services. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating client behaviors and outcomes while ensuring appropriate level/type of service is provided.Position Description:
With close supervision; conducts interviews and administers assessments and screening instruments as defined by certificationMaintain caseload and productivity by ensuring regular contact with clients to monitor and assess progressLead educational groups and/or facilitate group curriculumWrite service plans, review progress and determine updates needed in collaboration with client and teamUtilize approved best practice model working with clients in individual or group settingDeliver on-going services to clients which may include: crisis intervention, advocacy, medication monitoring, and referral and linkage to community resources as neededEnsure compliance with applicable standards and agency policiesDocument all clinical activities to meet specific program, funder and regulatory criteria timely and with accuracyParticipate in team meetings and assist in making recommendations for client status changesAdhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulationsOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to provide group and individual substance use disorder servicesExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate strong ethical and professional behavior. Ability to relate to and interact with a wide variety of people in an ethical, culturally sensitive and respectful mannerStrong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizingAbility to utilize technology including electronic service documentation systemJob Requirements:
Associates Degree in Behavioral Science or related field or; Equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodiesCDCA , LCDC I/II/III
