Job Description

Career & Technical Education Lab Aide Student Worker Umpqua Community College is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student to support Career & Technical Education programs in both lab and classroom settings. This role plays a key part in keeping instructional spaces organized, functional, and ready for student success. You'll work closely with faculty and staff while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, technical learning environment. Duties may vary depending on the program area, but typical responsibilities include: Assisting with installation and setup of software Supporting the maintenance and organization of lab equipment Helping students navigate lab tools and equipment during class sessions Assisting with inventory tracking and ordering of classroom and office supplies Providing general support to faculty and department staff Completing other related duties as assigned
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day Occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting (up to 20 lbs. ) Currently enrolled UCC student taking at least 6 credits
