Full Job Description Description:
Greet all customers who enter the Center with a positive and welcoming attitude, encouraging engagement with the Center's services. Provide excellent and prompt customer service at the front desk, referring customers to the appropriate department or resource based on their needs. Offer a warm greeting to customers entering the Career Resource Center (CRC) and engage with them as they leave to debrief their experience. Assist first-time customers with completing their PA CareerLink online registration. Actively monitor customer progress within the CRC - answer questions, and aid ensure they are using the tools effectively to achieve their goals. Recommend relevant computer-based applications and resources to help customers meet their employment and career objectives. Maintain accurate daily participation logs and submit reports on activities within the CRC. Inform customers of available workshops, services, and resources, including literacy services, WIOA registration benefits, and the "Welcome to PA CareerLink" workshop. Keep the CRC organized, ensuring that documents and equipment are replenished and readily available as needed. Maintain order and safety in the CRC while ensuring a clean and inviting space. Demonstrate patience, active listening skills, and the ability to de-escalate confrontational situations or handle emotional customers. Assist the Customer Experience Team and take on other tasks as needed to support center operations. Attend meetings as required.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Human Services or a minimum of three years of related work experience. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
