About Us Central HME is a leading Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider specializing in geriatric care. We are dedicated to helping seniors maintain independence, comfort, and dignity through high-quality mobility and assistive technology solutions. Job Summary Central HME is seeking a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to assess, recommend, and coordinate custom mobility and assistive solutions. This position is designed as a hybrid sales and ATP position, where you will be generating leads and fulfilling custom wheelchair orders. This is a commissioned position with a base salary. Responsibilities Conduct in-home or clinic-based evaluations to determine clients' assistive technology needs Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and caregivers Recommend appropriate equipment, including custom wheelchairs, seating systems, and mobility aids Configure and adjust equipment to meet clinical and environmental needs Provide training and education to clients and caregivers on equipment usage and maintenance Document assessments, recommendations, and clinical justifications accurately Assist with insurance documentation and funding processes Provide follow-up services to ensure ongoing fit and function of equipment Qualifications Current ATP certification through RESNA (Required) 2+ years of experience in DME or complex rehab, preferably in geriatric care Strong understanding of mobility and seating products Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client visits Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunity to work with THE Kevin Roche Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Ongoing professional development and training Supportive team environment focused on patient care and outcomes Apply today and help us make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
