The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment opportunities. As an Employment Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding individuals through the job search process. This is an opportunity for a diligent and creative self-starter who is professional and driven by positive outcomes. Duties

• Manage a customized employment process by first getting to know the goals of each client.
• Work closely with clients to identify their strengths and interests
• Educate clients on employment opportunities and assist in job placement
• Mentor individuals to improve their interview skills and workplace readiness
• Collaborate with employers to advocate for inclusive hiring practices
• Stay up-to-date on employment labor laws and regulations
• Assist in recruiting efforts to match candidates with suitable job openings
• Support the job retention needs of both the client and employer Qualifications
• Workforce Development experience serving adults with disabilities and/or case management experience. Or, other relevant experience that translates.
• Unwavering passion to match clients with meaningful employment.
• Proficiency in interviewing techniques and job coaching
• Fidelity to utilizing case management system to document effort.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage business community to understand their staffing needs to facilitate opportunities for clients.
