Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Job Coach to empower individuals with diverse needs to achieve meaningful employment and independence. In this vital role, you will serve as a dedicated mentor and advocate, guiding clients through the journey of workforce development with enthusiasm and expertise. Your energy and commitment will help unlock potential, foster confidence, and create pathways to success for those facing unique challenges. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or those overcoming addiction, while promoting inclusive employment practices. Duties Develop personalized employment plans tailored to each client's skills, interests, and goals, ensuring alignment with their abilities and aspirations Provide ongoing mentoring and support to clients throughout their job search, onboarding, and retention phases Conduct engaging training sessions on workplace skills, social interactions, and job-specific tasks to prepare clients for success Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and service providers to identify suitable job opportunities and facilitate placements Assist clients in understanding employment rights under labor laws and advocate for accommodations when necessary Utilize interviewing techniques to prepare clients for interviews, helping them showcase their strengths confidently Track progress through detailed documentation, reports, and regular evaluations to ensure continuous growth and achievement Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of employment & labor law principles relevant to inclusive hiring practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, including understanding their unique needs and communication styles Background in addiction counseling or supporting recovery efforts is a plus Strong teaching skills with the ability to mentor and motivate diverse learners Familiarity with workforce development strategies and social work principles Skilled in interviewing techniques, recruiting strategies, and training & development methods Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to mentoring others Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance Must have a clean background check Join us in creating opportunities that transform lives! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
