Responsibilities include conducting vocational assessments, assisting with job searches and interviews, providing on-the-job training, coordinating workplace accommodations, and maintaining communication with employers and service teams. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with state and agency requirements, promoting safety, and educating individuals on how employment may impact benefits. Community outreach and occasional support to work crews may be required Skills Strong understanding of employment & labor law principles relevant to diverse populations Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, demonstrating patience and adaptability Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and how they intersect with employment readiness Background in teaching, mentoring, recruiting, or training & development to foster growth and confidence in clients Excellent interviewing skills combined with the ability to assess individual needs accurately Proven ability to develop effective training programs tailored to varied learning styles Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with employers, clients, families, and community partners
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to relate to and work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, ability to write the English language in a legible and understandable manner as well as communicate effectively with individuals served, families/caregivers, co-workers and members of the business community. Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, and service recipients.Education :
