ADVISEMENT/ATHLETICSRESPONSIBILITIESContact and establish potential mentoring partners with companies throughout the Chattanooga areaServe as a liaison between companies and the schoolMaintain the mentoring partner databaseCommunicate mentoring session schedules to faculty and staffAssist in the development and implementation of the annual college/career fairAdhere to all school policies, procedures, and guidelinesOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree preferredAbility to work in a variety of environments to include indoor, outdoor and office settingsMust be able to stand for extended periods of timePass a criminal background checkKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively with students, educators, parents, and community membersDemonstrate excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skillsCommitted to high academic achievement and high expectations for all studentsMaintain high personal standards and integrityAble to be a positive team-player and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, students, and familiesThe salary is for this position is $20 per hour, up to 20 hours per week.
