Immediately Job Description Anderson County School System is seeking an Academic Coach for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year for the elementary schools. The Academic Coach provides support for curriculum standards and Anderson County instructional practices in all subjects.- In order to ensure vertical alignment and continuity of the program of study for all students, the Academic coach will collaborate with other curriculum coordinators and then provide support through co-planning, co-teaching, lesson studies, modeling researched based instructional strategies, reviewing student assessments, data analysis, and engaging classroom teachers in reflective practices.
- With the school administration, the Academic coach will help develop detailed professional growth plans for individual teachers. This is a certified position. Job Qualifications
- A valid teacher license, masters degree preferred.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills, emphasizing persuasiveness and consensus building.
- Minimum of professional licensure and tenure, and/or five years of teaching experience.
