Dime Box ISD is seeking a highly organized, student-centered professional to serve as both School Counselor and District Testing Coordinator. This role is critical in supporting student success through strategic planning, data-driven decision making, and effective coordination of assessment systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and managing master schedules that intentionally support student pathways, including alignment with Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators. This individual should be skilled in ensuring that scheduling decisions maximize student opportunities while meeting graduation requirements and accountability goals. In the role of District Testing Coordinator, the candidate must be knowledgeable in STAAR testing procedures, state assessment requirements, and testing security protocols. The ability to organize, train, and support staff in all aspects of testing administration is essential, as well as maintainingpliance with all state and district guidelines. A strong emphasis is placed on data literacy. The candidate should befortable analyzing student performance data, leading data discussions, and collaborating with teachers through PLCs to drive instructional improvement. This includes helping teachers interpret assessment results, identify trends, and adjust instruction to meet student needs. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who builds strong relationships with students, staff, and families, while maintaining a sharp focus on student oues. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential for success in this role.Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Counseling, Educational Administration, or a related field OR Bachelor's degree in a teaching field with relevant years of experience Valid Texas certification (School Counselor or appropriate administrative/teaching certification, as applicable) Experience in master schedule development, with a strong understanding of CTE pathways and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators Knowledge ofSTAAR/EOC
testing procedures, assessment coordination, and testing security requirements Experience serving as or supporting a campus/district testing coordinator preferred Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret student performance data and lead data-driven conversations Experience working with teachers in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to improve instruction and student oues Excellent organizational,munication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentialitySalary Range:
