Job Description Unpaid Internship Position Summary:
The Internship opportunity at Texas State Technical College - Harlingen allows students to complete their internship requirements at the Advocacy & Resource Center. Interns will be assisting the department and/or office in case management, connecting with community resources, and participating in event coordination. They are expected to maintain confidentiality and provide great customer service to TSTC students. Essential Functions Case management Network with community agencies and organizations Contribute to the planning of department/office events Assist with maintaining TSTC's Food Pantry Compliance with Federal Privacy laws when accessing confidential student information Clerical functions (copying, collating, word processing, filing, answering phones, etc.) Provide great customer service to students, other departments and the public Other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills Ideal candidate should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or graduate degree in a related field.
