Provide professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to support district and campus leaders in designing, implementing, and strengthening systems that improve College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) outcomes. Support alignment of CCMR indicators, programs, and pathways within an integrated system that ensures students graduate prepared for postsecondary success.Qualifications:
Education Master's degree Certification Texas Teacher Certificate (preferred in secondary education, counseling, CTE, or related field) Experience Five years of teaching, counseling, or leadership experience at the secondary level Three years of experience in leadership roles related to CCMR, CTE, counseling, or postsecondary readiness Experience developing and delivering professional development for educators and/or leaders Experience supporting implementation of CCMR systems, pathways, or accountability measures Special Knowledge and Skills Deep knowledge of CCMR indicators, accountability measures, and reporting requirements Expertise in designing and supporting CTE programs, endorsements, and career pathways Knowledge of dual credit, industry-based certifications (IBCs), military readiness, and workforce alignment Understanding of advising systems that support student postsecondary planning (e.g., graduation plans, college/career advising) Ability to analyze CCMR data and develop strategies to improve student outcomes Knowledge of master scheduling practices that support CCMR pathways and access Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills with diverse stakeholdersMajor Responsibilities:
Develop, present, and facilitate professional development focused on improving CCMR outcomes and systems. Provide coaching and technical assistance to district and campus leaders on designing and implementing effective CCMR systems and pathways. Support districts in analyzing CCMR data, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to improve performance across indicators. Assist campuses in strengthening advising systems to ensure students are prepared for college, career, or military pathways. Support the development and expansion of CTE programs, dual credit opportunities, and industry-based certifications aligned to workforce needs. Provide guidance on master scheduling to ensure equitable access to CCMR opportunities for all students. Develop tools, resources, and frameworks to support CCMR planning, tracking, and implementation. Partner with districts to align CCMR efforts within broader integrated systems, including MTSS, counseling, and advanced academics. Assist with planning and implementation of ongoing needs assessment and services for Region 4 customer districts related to CCMR. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across CTE, counseling, advanced academics, and other support services. Participate in state and regional initiatives related to CCMR and stay current on policy, accountability, and workforce trends. Provide technical assistance and services as specified by any applicable federal or state programs that support CCMR.
