Class 101 Sugar Land is hiring a college planner to work with high school students through their high school as students transition to college. We provide students with expert guidance in the college search, admissions, and financial aid process. We support them in the steps necessary to achieve those goals in the most cost-effective manner possible. We are seeking college planners at our Sugar Land, TX office-someone who will work collaboratively with a team to provide direct college planning to students through individual meetings. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dedicated to the needs of his or her clients, and willing to learn and execute a proven system for delivering college planning. Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Building relationships with students to empower them to navigate the college process Encouraging, motivating, and keeping students on track as they progress through the college admissions process Assisting students to build a unique, personalized, and well-fit college list Guiding students through the essay writing process to create and refine main, supplemental, honors, and scholarship essays Gaining expertise in Class 101's curricula and general college knowledge Identifying student goals for college and career Understanding family college budgeting and helping families understanding financial aid processes Coaching, mentoring, and cheerleading for your students along their high school journey!

Skills and Requirements:
