The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), a Family Friendly Certified Workplace, is seeking a Business Relations Coordinator (BRC)- Sr BRC to join the Vocational Rehabilitation Department located at 1415 S New Rd Waco, TX. TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. Benefits to working for TWC include:

- Sr BRC is selected by and reports to the Deputy Regional Director.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Responsible for leading a regional Outreach Service and Coordination (OSC) team and serving as a consultant to businesses to promote and develop business relationships that result in the employment of people with disabilities.
- Plans, develops, and implements major employment programs and providing consultative and technical assistance to program staff, units of state and local government, community organizations, and employers.
- Provides employment-related service to businesses to establish potential employment opportunities for customers with disabilities.
- Provides training and guidance to agency staff, state and federal governmental agencies, and community organizations related to business needs and customer job readiness.
- Works in collaboration with agency staff to meet business relations objectives.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BRC (Program Specialist V): Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Sr BRC (Program Specialist VI): Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus two years and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- One year of full-time experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of education.
- Copy of official transcripts, certifications and/or credentials will be requested at the time of interview if applicable.
All levels:
- Experience as a BRC cited above must be in accordance with the career ladder requirements of the agency.
- Related work experience is defined as consultative services/technical assistance to program staff, and general knowledge of disabilities.
