Exempt 2025-2026 Salary Scale Summary The Regional CLM Coach is responsible for coaching across multiple divisions. Through evidence-based coaching practices, the Regional CLM Coach supports professional development for staff, strengthens instructional systems, and promotes consistent, high-quality implementation of CLM practices. The Regional CLM Coach supports instructional schedule development, differentiation of instruction, and the use of effective instructional and behavioral strategies to increase student engagement. The Regional CLM Coach guides teams in data collection, analysis, and data-based instructional decision-making. The Regional CLM Coach facilitates classroom-level team meetings, conducts course-of-study checkouts with staff, and models evidence-based instructional practices. In partnership with the Regional CLM Coordinator, the Regional CLM Coach contributes to the design and delivery of division-wide CLM trainings and ongoing support for CLM classrooms.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coaching and Implementation Provide on-site and/or virtual coaching to teams implementing CLM practices. Differentiate coaching strategies based upon adult learners' feedback and preference Utilize and model CLM instructional and behavioral strategies (e.g., schedule development, materials, regrouping, prompts, reinforcement). Conduct CLM Professional Development with teams (i.e., CLM Course of study content, verbal and performance checkouts) Support teams in designing and refining learning environments that enhance student participation Guide staff in selecting and implementing appropriate CLM tools based on learner needs. Support teams in ethical decision-making and individualized programming. Facilitate and participate in team meetings that support continued professional development and growth Adhere to the CLM Service Delivery Standards and CLM Coach principles (i.e., establish a collaborative relationship, maintain positive rapport with all staff members, provide the type of coaching necessary for staff members to function independently when the coach is absent, etc) Training & Professional Development Deliver CLM-aligned training, workshops, and professional learning sessions in collaboration with other CLM coaches, lead Division Coach, and/or Regional Coordinator Support onboarding and continued professional development for new staff. Reinforce consistent language and shared understanding of CLM concepts. Contribute to the development of training materials and coaching resources. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and families as appropriate, aligned with the CLM Service Delivery Standards Maintain professional and ethical communication with all multi-disciplinary team members Participate in division coach meetings to problem-solve barriers and focus on solutions Accepts feedback in an open manner Mentor Coaches in Training (CiT): Provides mentor coaching to Coaches-in-training Establish and maintain rule-governed behavior with coaches regarding fidelity of implementation Model coaching rather than consulting onlyKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must possess ability to establish rapport and work constructively with staff, students, parents, regional CLM Coordinator, and administration. Must adhere to the standards and fidelity of the Competent Learner Model. Possess leadership qualities, effective organization skills, and excel in time management. Posses a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis, evidenced based instructional strategies, and coaching practices. Must possess an understanding of various exceptionalities, including ASD, Emotional Disability, Traumatic Brain Injury, Hearing Impairment, Multiple Disabilities, etc. and best practices for working with those student populations.QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree or higher required Prefer either a Master's degree or in pursuit of Certified CLM coach Demonstrate the leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, regional CLM coordinator, administrators, and parents. Valid teaching license with special education endorsement preferred Participation in the CLM Coordinator coursework preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS
